We really have not had time to stop and think about our impending parenthood. In all legal terms, we are her parents, but it is sort of hard to feel that way when she is so far away. We are looking at 15-30 days for her birth certificate (yes, we are a little unlucky once again since some municipalities takes 3-5 days). But we are lucky to be hers! We are working with a contact down there to pay her to go every few days and check on it. It seems the attorneys just want to check once a month and they continue to drag things out.
Meanwhile, I have received so many calls and great support in the past week from all of our video and e-mail campaigns. We are going to get our children from Semillas home. The holds remain, but good things have to come to those who wait and we have waited long enough. I need to get a few more contacts this morning and send out some correspondance before work, but we are moving forward. More later...

Congratulations on your OUT! It is hard waiting on the other steps, but knowing there is an and she is your makes it easier to breathe! Your videos are beautiful! Thank you for sharing them with all of us.
Not to make you feel any better but our BC was from a 1-2 days place (Mazatenango) and it took us almost a month!!! I am sooooo tired of this craziness!
