We have been waiting now 2 weeks for Mariela's birth certificate (I have been hounding - yes, that is the correct word) Juan to call the attorney and Mixco to check on it. I keep thinking they are going to be nice and maybe get it to us this week or next. Then the last DNA....then free the kids from the orphanage....then bring her home!!!
Thank you Joan for these photos!!! - Mariela hides for anyone new that she sees. But, as always, you can get her to come out of her shell and give you a smile. She seems to do this for everyone, but now we know it is an act. What a drama queen already.
Here are a few pics that Gary took of Mariela while he is enjoying his life of leisure (small chuckle- and we all wish we were there!) down at Semillas. He looks after so many of our kids (he has 3 of his own there - so this is no small task) and makes my day just by taking a few extra photos and passing them on.
