80's Party and Oct. 24

Here are a few photos from our 80's party. YES, MY HAIR REALLY STILL DOES THAT (Juan did not want to go out in public with me!!!) I never got so much attention as when I walked into the gas station on the way to the get together. We had a great time and my friends are as hysterical as always. Don't hold the aqua net hair against me!!!

Update on Birth Certificate: Several versions of what is going on are out there, but our birth certificate file was reviewed and sent back to the attorney for pick up on Sept. 5. She did not go and check on it until the end of the month, which by that time, the new entity reviewing birth certificates had come and picked up the file. Now it is with RENAP and they requested a document from PGN that was incorrect in the file. No telling how long it will take for them to revise, and they can only submit new documentation on Wednesdays. They were trying to have that done for today. Then it will take at least 15 working days for them to let us know if we are approved or rejected....again. This is why EVERYTHING DOWN THERE TAKES FOREVER.

So, we are praying they get the papers in today and we hear good news around Oct. 21. We are still looking at 3 or so weeks to bring her home after THIS ONE DOCUMENT IS ISSUED!!! If they get it in gear, she could be here by Thanksgiving. But I cannot get my hopes up - they have come down one too many times. Thank goodness my coordinator from the agency is down there trying to make sense of this mess. Hopefully they will get the birth certifcate back on the right track.

Also, the papers are almost back to the local judge and they are working on getting all the holds removed from the kids with the PGN approval. That is us, and we hope to hear news of that later this week when the attorney meets with the judge. I wish we had our birth certificate and we would be closer to getting her home, but can't cry over spilled milk at this point.
