Que Chula! (How cute!)

Time is flying quickly, and we suddenly have realized with the past few weeks events, that it is more precious than ever. Getting Mariela has become such a passion for us. I am continuing my campaign to senators, congress members and UNICEF to support all of us families who want to bring all of these children home. We are continuing to gain support, including the U.S. Dept. of State and UNICEF Guatemala.

I would like to extend a personal thank you to all of our friends that have truly reached out and gone to all efforts to help us. By their simple e-mails, we have made such a difference in the past week. We even had Representative Richard Raymond call Juan in person on Saturday morning to speak to us and also to Rep. Cuellar's office for the call from Washington, D.C. . Priya and Sabrina, thank you for your personal e-mails to get him and other members to take notice. We know that the support of our congress members will continue influencing the goverening bodies to help get these children home safe. You have all made a difference in our lives! Please let us return the favor someday.
