Merry Early Christmas!

Before hairbrush.... and after!

Nine months old Mariela is tipping the scales now at 16 pounds! We are thrilled, since she has been stalled out at 13 pounds for the past few months while she was under the weather. She has bottom teeth and the front ones are making their appearance. She is starting to eat chicken now (mixed in with those mushy vegetables, of course). Her hair keeps growing, too and looks more precious all the time!

She is starting to crawl and they tell us she is friendly and sociable (we already know that she does not sit still). She doesn't cry with strangers either - good thing for us! It is strange that we know her in some ways through our brief little introductions into her daily life, but she probably won't remember us from our last visit...

One week and counting...we can't wait to HUG and KISS YOU!!
