The tree is already up! I had to close the blinds, so the I didn't scare off the trick-or-treaters. The ornament in the middle is one that we bought on our visit trip (not the reindeer, the other one) that I loved. They are handmade by women in Guatemala and sold in an effort to give women a chance to work an honest living to help support their families.
The textile to the left is actually a hat that is for the Mayan babies, but we framed it in a shadow box for Mariela's room. I have some pictures of other textiles we picked up at the market, including the clothing of Mayan women.
